@taxicab21 Cierra Burton, a Chicago native, spent most of her life immersed in the dance community. Cierra completed her 200 hour training in 2014 and has since had many hours of continuing education in yoga and sculpt. You can find her on her mat practicing or teaching at Corepower Hyde Park or South loop as well as at Yoga Six South loop weekly! Cierra aims to bring her passion for movement, knowledge of safe body alignment and positive vibes into all of her classes.
@asiachantell Asia Chantell, born and raised on the south side of Chicago, fell in love with yoga while searching for remedies of her back pain due to having scoliosis (a curvature in the spine). After years of practicing and trying to perfect yoga poses she’d seen on Instagram, she decided to get her 200 hour teaching training in 2017. Since then Asia has taught all over the city of Chicago and surrounding suburbs and even started her own business called New Yoga State of Mind. Today Asia is a middle school drama teacher, wife and mother, and dedicated Yogi seeking to introduce naysayers and first timers to the amazing benefits of yoga and meditation.
@mkjyoga Mia K. Jones, is a Chicago Power & Vinyasa yoga teacher who places emphasis on evolution through physical challenge. She has been practicing yoga since 2015 and completed her 200hr certification through Core Power Yoga in the spring of 2017. Since then Mia's teaching style has been influenced by many different styles of yoga and other teachers. Her classes allow you to have fun while challenging yourself, and with her music you may even stop to dance. This combination helps a create mind and body awareness and allows yogis to step away from their mat feeling empowered an refreshed.
